Blue Finish ( Transgression )

Bark tanned Trout skin stretched in wood sinew and copper frame Blue finish is a technical term for the luster produced naturally upon the form using a specific technique involving naturally occurring minerals. The Trout, a female stripped of itís eggs, a process used in most fish farms and left to rot on a compost heap. The fish was rotten however in older technologies this an essential part of the leather making process. Nothing was wasted the flesh and bone were returned to the soil. The result is a combination of all essential elements, Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Animal Plant and Mineral kingdoms.
